株式会社illuminusは、JETRO（日本貿易振興機構）が実施する2026年度「Global Startup Acceleration Program（GSAP）」のSustainability（GX）コースに採択されました。本コースは、世界有数のClimate TechアクセラレーターであるThird Derivativeと連携し、日本発スタートアップのグローバル展開を支援するプログラムです。
その活動の一環として、2026年9月にニューヨークで開催された世界最大級の気候変動・脱炭素イベント「New York Climate Week 2026」に参加しました。
現地では、Climate Tech、Deep Tech、Critical Minerals、Energy、Advanced Materialsなどをテーマとするイベントに参加し、米国をはじめとする数百の国内外の事業会社、スタートアップ、投資家・VC等と幅広く意見交換を行いました。

特に高い関心を集めたのが、高価な希少金属の使用量を抑えながら、より高い性能と耐久性を実現するilluminusの「完全固溶合金ナノ粒子」です。

独自のレーザー誘起還元技術により、従来技術では困難だった多元素の均一な固溶を実現し、触媒、水素・合成燃料、燃料電池などの分野において、Critical Mineralsへの依存低減と高性能化を両立する新たな材料技術として、多くの投資家・事業会社から関心が寄せられました。
今後は、半導体・電子部品材料を含む幅広い用途への展開を進めるとともに、今回構築したグローバルネットワークを活かし、海外企業との共同開発・事業提携、海外投資家との連携をさらに加速してまいります。

illuminus inc. has been selected for the Sustainability (GX) Course of JETRO’s Global Startup Acceleration Program (GSAP) 2026, delivered in collaboration with Third Derivative, one of the world’s leading climate-tech accelerators.

As part of our global expansion activities, illuminus participated in Climate Week NYC 2026, held in New York City in September 2026. During the week, we joined events focused on Climate Tech, Deep Tech, Critical Minerals, Energy, and Advanced Materials, and exchanged ideas with investors, venture capital firms, global corporations, entrepreneurs, and other leaders from the international climate-tech ecosystem.

One area that attracted particular interest was illuminus’ fully solid-solution multimetallic nanoparticles, designed to reduce the use of scarce and critical metals while achieving higher performance and durability. Our proprietary laser-induced reduction technology enables the homogeneous alloying of multiple elements that is difficult to achieve through conventional processes. Investors and industry leaders showed strong interest in its potential to simultaneously improve performance and reduce critical-metal dependency in applications such as catalysts, hydrogen, synthetic fuels, and fuel cells.

Building on this momentum, illuminus will continue expanding applications into semiconductors and electronic component materials while accelerating international joint development, strategic partnerships, and engagement with global investors.
